Generator woes- low compression across all cylinders

I've lost all faith and interest in Hatton over the paste few years. I just don't bother with them anymore.

And I agree with rslifkin that you probably found the whole problem with the original generator when you discovered the broken rocker arms. Doubly damning on Hatton for not even checking for proper valve operation when diagnosing an engine with low compression. It should have been one of the first things to check.

I have my reasons for keeping my mouth shut. I believe that twistedtree has very respectable opinions.
