Hi James,There was some discussion on the wood block mounting and support in previous posts. As discussed, there seems to be different methods for supporting the actuator/fin assembly.
As I was reviewing the NIAID manual last night, ran across a drawing that provides some insight as to the different support methods. See below for some excerpts from the drawing.
CaseyHi James,
I just read your entire stabilizer install thread. Thank you so much for sharing this. Our boat, a KK 48, has a similar setup, and we are experiencing that the fins our not aligned properly. I posted about this yesterday: NAIAD MultiSea II Stabilizer Control System Adjustment. I am looking for a service manual or procedure for adjusting the alignment of the stabilizers. Would you know where I can source one?
Kind regards,
Casey Corcoran
Luckily, ours it is just forward of the washer dryer and shower, where access via hatch in the floorboard makes it fairly easy to get to.Casey
Is your Port fin under the washer dryer? If so that is a tough place to access the system’s components and actuator functions
