Unlike the high production automotive industry, the low volume marine industry rarely standardized parts over a long period of time. Changes occurred some times rather frequently even within in a model year. Usually do to availability of parts at the location of a yard or vendors that may have been a less consistent supplier.
This is more true the older a vessel. Typically a yacht manufacturer will build their own hulls and maybe some key pieces. The rest is all supplied by some vendor that was contracted to supply a given part. Mostly because of volume. A yacht builder may make one to a hundred units. And automotive will make tens of thousands of a given unit.
As suggested above removing the part and finding the supplier or making some other part work is likely the best solution.
