Your boat must be brand new.
Super clean!
Actually, Great Laker is a 2005 hull (and 2006 model). We have cruised her over 7K mi in the last 3 years, including most of the Great Loop. Luckily, both my wife and I are quite fastidious and during this time we have strived to keep her like new. It has turned out to be quite straightforward due to her limited size, no external wood and the nature of the internal finishes.
Built in 1957 at the Bellingham Shipyards. Started life with a big block Ford gas engine. Along the line was converted to a 6-354 Perkins. Last owner before us had her for 26 years. We are bringing her back to life. Next spring new paint and a hard lid over the aft deck.
I am assuming that is QSB Power??? How many HP and will it cruise on plane? I remember I saw Hull #1 at the Miami Boat Show in.....2000??? Although only 2ft bigger than a N32, it is closer in size to the N37!!! Very fine boats!!!!!
Thanks for the info, Larry. I have always been a fan!!! They had that hull #1 at the Miami Boat Show for $199k!!!! I remember thinking what a great deal that was at the time. I know they are much more expensive now and can't find a used one at that price.
Nice choice! I have always admired the OAs and have owned a 42. No thruster, huh? How big is the rudder? The latest object to drain the bank account..

Nice....Realistically, a boat about that size and configuration would be my dream boat. Just a tad larger than our 36' but more room where it counts most, yet not too big for berthing, maintenance shorthanded crewing etc. Our equivalent here would be the big brother to my Clipper 34, the Clipper 40.The latest object to drain the bank account..

She's a '95 Sea Ray 550 Sedan Bridge with a pair of Cat 3406C's, 15KW Westerbeke, bow thruster and is about to get a new Raymarine radar installed. The first pic was taken on a trip up the Snake River.
"My Office"
GW and I on one of our dinner cruises we donate to charities. We usually do about five of these a year.
My bro and SIL checking out the engine room.
We bought her in the Detroit area, had her taken apart and shipped on two trailers to Portland, OR where she was put back together. We spend three days bringing her up the Columbia, traveling through four dams on the way home.
Not a trawler but she suits the rough coastline of my home port, 38' Northumberland strait converted lobster. http://www.trawlerforum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=23616&stc=1&d=1381406368 http://www.trawlerforum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=23617&stc=1&d=1381406368 http://www.trawlerforum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=23618&stc=1&d=1381406368
