Makes you wonder what the hell?
I wondered that too. Rode is visible in the graffitied pics, but not in the "wash ashore" vid. It`s as if whoever ran the boat was not aboard when it all went south.1) Why not drop the anchor?
Three or four guys on board they were probably spending more time looking for Tangas on the beach rather than watching depth and where they were going. Looks like there was a sand bar out where the waves were breaking, maybe they bounced the props on it and were disabled. Nice looking boat, before. The entire port side of the hull seems to have desintegrated.Makes you wonder what the hell?
You could be right, I can`t see a Super Sarca in that lot.Greetings,
Mr. MM. They DID drop the anchor. It was the WRONG one! One of these evidently:
That's why there are 673 posts in the Chesapeake thread.
You could be right, I can`t see a Sarca Supreme in that lot.
Have we converted this to an anchor thread already?
I think that's what the girl in green was yelling in Portugese: DROP THE ANCHOR!!!I wondered that too. Rode is visible in the graffitied pics, but not in the "wash ashore" vid. It`s as if whoever ran the boat was not aboard when it all went south.
Could have been a 4 letter word ending with "ing", between "Drop" and "The".I think that's what the girl in green was yelling in Portugese: DROP THE ANCHOR!!!
Early on there was a dingy in the water, perhaps they fowled the props with line. looks like the layup on the port side could have been a little beefier.
To progress, we`ll need brand, design and size of the anchor.I saw the anchor down in most of the video of the boat coming into shore.
