Global Supply Chain & Shipping Issues Continue To Impair Inventory & Impact Deliveries
Throughout this year, we’ve issued updates to keep you informed regarding several global issues impacting equipment production and deliveries. In addition to well-known challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic, we've also advised of several events specifically impacting the supply chain of electronic components from South East Asia and shortages of semiconductors worldwide. In keeping with our pledge to maintain open lines of communications with our Valued Dealers & Authorized Resellers, knowing that you need to keep your customers well informed, we feel it’s essential to provide you with this update.
We truly wish we had more positive news to share with you. However, the reality is that Furuno, along with numerous other electronics/technology manufacturers, continues to be impacted by ongoing supply chain and global shipping issues, creating further production delays and extended delivery times. These delays are now affecting a wider range of Furuno products beyond those we last reported to you. As this is an ever-changing, fluid situation, it would be futile to offer any specific product list or delivery schedule within this document, as that information is likely to change (positively or negatively) within days or weeks of this publication.
Therefore, when you are in need of product availability or an update on a specific order, we urge you to contact our Order Service staff in Camas or Denton, who will work to provide you with the very latest information they have at their disposal. We also completely understand the uncertainty and frustration this situation creates for you and your customers, as we are experiencing those same feelings.
