Manatee needs a new engine, what to do?

My Manatee is listed on North Pacific Yachts for $149K and has a Yanmar diesel with 195 hours. Drove her down to Anacortes from Birch Bay Village for the Kadey Krogen Rendezvous. The Yanmar performs very well.

Wondering why the slam against Cummins from China. I would think that there's a good chance that any spare parts you buy here in the State probably were manufactured there as well. Do you have solid evidence of defective materials/workmanship from Chinese Cummins, or is that just a personal preference?

No slam against China but I put my money where it helps to support our own factories and workers.
