Picking a new name for our tug

The friendliest place on the web for anyone who enjoys boating.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Isla Mia appeals to me

Not suggesting either for you. But two boat names I've always gotten a chuckle from are:

Change Order - with a dinghy named Original Contract

the other:

Our Last Boat IX

Another favorite is a Looper friend's (and AGLCA Harbor Host)

Quo Vladimus (Latin for "Where are we going?" or "Where we are going.")
Their hailing port: Nowhere OK (an actual place in Oklahoma if you Google it.)

Names for boat

Here are two Sundowner tugs already used:
My boat: Northstar, it came with boat.
A boat moored close to me at La Conner: Crabby. They like me to crab. Boat is kept else ware in the winter.

I tried to load two photos but was in able, as usual. I think I got one in.

Do you have moorage?
Rob

Well I see it only took one, sideways.

Yes Rob I have moorage in Everett Marina, so close to you guys. We need a Sundowner PNW club and a raft up

Taking off the Walrus head graphic, I discovered parts of a previous name in the glue. Sooooo not not her first renaming

Our current boat has shadows of 2 previous names on it. Tried compounding the area but they still show if you get real close. Oh well…

I liked the name of a tug seen on the Petaluma River: Bob.

Good choice! If Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.

Milt Baker, American Tug 34064 Bluewater V, Southwest Harbor, ME

Some years ago I owned an ex army yard tug. Working on it sounded like a steel drum so that's what I called it. I later added a small steel log tug, so I called it Bongo. Here they are together.

Bongo is a possibility maybe.

i never officially named the little tug bongo but my wife aand I are liking it more for this Tug. Simple. Now top of our short list

This?

As the time gets nearer to renaming, I'm looking up the ceremony. Seems to be several versions.

I wanted to name mine Tom's Tug Toy but wife wasn't buying it? My Buddy suggested Zippy but out of the blue weeks later I came up with Slo-Mocean .

Zippy Is saved for the dinghy.

In the ceremony, they use champagne, but what would they have use way back when, rum?

Have dogs onboard? Bow Wow
