Explore the Chesapeake Bay on a fully equipped 1990 Marine Trader Tradewinds 43 Sundeck.
My wife and I started bareboat chartering trawlers on the Chesapeake 10 years ago in order to find out for ourselves what life on a trawler was like and what we did and didn’t like about sizes, types and layouts of various boats. The experience we gained on these charters was invaluable and allowed us to fine tune our list of requirements for our first trawler. Last fall our dreams became reality when we purchased “Andiamo” and relocated her to Kent Narrows, Maryland.
Knowing how important our chartering experiences were on our journey to ownership, and seeing the number of trawlers available for bareboat charter on the Bay dwindle, we have decided to make Andiamo available for bareboat charter.
Highlights:
• 42’-6” LOA 14’-6” beam
• Twin 210 Cummins diesels
• Cruise 8-9 knots @ 1800 rpm
• Kohler 9Kw generator
• 500 gals diesel, 200 gals water
• Hot & cold pressurized water w/dockside connection
• VHF, depth sounder and new Simrad NSS12 evo3 MFD w/4K broadband radar @ upper helm
• New windlass w/controls at both helms
• Air conditioning & heat
• Island king berth aft, offset full berth forward
• 2 electric fresh water heads w/shower
• Galley down w/fridge & freezer, electric stove & oven, microwave & all galley gear
• Dinette w/high-low table
• Large salon w/helm; new sleeper sofa and lounge chair will be installed prior to charter season
