Hello TFers,
First new thread since a while, apologies if anyone wondered if I was still alive but life kept me away in some ways.
I recently read a few things regarding LFP battery and I was wondering if this would be a good choice in cold climate.
Let me explain my question.
For what I saw these batteries need to be kept above 0C for charging, so some of them have built in heating element, and they should be stored above 0C.
Up here we store boat for few months and fir most in non heated place. As an example my storage is indoor but not heated so temp can get as low as let say around -25C. Having to store the batteries above 0C means that the whole bank would need to be removed every year to be stored at home what is not very practical.
Any advice/comment regarding this?
