Looks like a 50’ boat with a 10’ swim platform. It gives the impression that space is utilized very poorly. Agree with Mr McG. The good news is there are a lot of places in the world you could go to with this boat. The bad news is there are a lot of places you can’t go to with that draft.
In another year or so, the price will be lower. Not a lot of demand for this kind of boat in the recreational market.
Did you even read the ad?No mention of stabilizers, running gear, # of water tight compartments, bow and or stern thrusters, generator, water maker. All pictures shot with a wide angle lens (standard practice), ..... so many things not mentioned.....
Based upon the berthing photos, 3 man crew or perhaps 2 guest and a captain?
Best guess, the type of boat where the owner just hangs out and the captain chooses the crew etc.
Forget the ICW and the loop.
I agree, better utilization of interior spaces. (suggest one more stateroom) I think for that kind of money one could get a really nice cabin on a cruise ship and cruise for a couple of years or more without the worry of maintenance or upkeep.
All that being said, I think it is a very nice boat. They did a fantastic job on finishing the interior wood work.
Even though I could but the boat outright, it is just not my kind of boat.
One strange thing about this boat (for some people) is the lack of headroom. I emailed the broker a couple of years ago— the headroom is only 6’ throughout most of the boat.
I looked for the old email and couldn’t find it, but I’m pretty sure I’m not misremembering.

Indeed the fabric used for the pilot house seating is really something! But if this is the only issue it is an easy fix.

Great lakes "fish tugs".What is that? Home built cabin on a pro built hull? I don't know why but I kind of like it.

very interesting boat.. but whoever picked the fabrics and colors ( including the red hull ) should never of had been allowed near that boat.
Has a weird top heavy big bow like a N40..
interesting alternative to a N46.. looks better laid out

This is kind of interesting. The huon pine timber from Tasmania, of which it is built, preserves perfectly underwater. Huon pine used these days usually comes from old trees found underwater, due to dam construction, etc. The hull should be ok but the rest of it,.
Knowing the broker involved, I`d guess his job is getting it removed, as cheaply as possible.
