With the downside of operating a SD boat at FD, Trawler Crawler, speeds not immediately visible to new customers the choice is for the SD hull. By selecting different power levels the assembler can claim what ever he wished in terms of SD speed boat or FD cruiser.

You will never hear of a fresh water boat having to cut out corroded fuel tanks (frequently discussed on this forum), discard corroded air conditioners, corroded hydraulic pumps or replace corroded wiring.
