Tested post installation volumes and flow rates
Finally got the new SeaEra QC toilet and Purasan unit installed. As promised, here is some data. We chose the “Multifunction Flush” control, which is the manual momentary push button, so we were able to control flush times. We also added measured volumes of water to the bowl to conduct the tests. With 4’ of back pressure from the Purasan discharge vented loop, it took the SeaEra QC toilet just under 4 seconds to pump 1/2 gallon (nearly a full bowl for the marine or compact size). 1/2 gallon roughly represents 12’ of 1” OR 6’ of 1-1/2” ID hose.
Another note, we had to enlarge the orifice hole in the metering washer to get the Tablet Dispenser to fill in less than prescribed time of 18 seconds. Our on board fresh water pump is rated at 35 psi discharge pressure.
Thanks to all who helped us along the way.
