Panama City Beach's Bay Point Marina (now apparently called Point South Marina at Bay Point) has just started accepting boats returning to their old slips today and will be fully re-opened in June. This marina along with the two large Panama City marinas and Sun harbor Marina were all destroyed on 10 October 2018 when category five Hurricane Michael tore through here. The two city marinas are not yet rebuilt, and it is probably going to be another year before they are ready. Sun Harbor's fate is unknown. I am eight miles north of the PC-PCB area and maintain a couple of 16' by 48' slips at my pier for the odd needy transient.
