We did the Great Loop in 2015 and 16 with friends on their Heritage East 36 sundeck trawler. It was a great trip and many pictures and memories later I still go back to my favorite picture of the boat. This was taken at the dock for the liquor store in Killarney Ontario. The dockage is for the LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) store only; it is not permitted to go to the grocery store or to any other place in town while you are docked there. There is a posted twenty minute time limit for dockage but that is waved if one is buying a lot of booze (personal experience tested !)

Easier than you might think. :socool:

Actually, not quite that easy. It is a fake, but really, the 25' bronze on the Juneau waterfront is pretty damm impressive.

The other angle was captured as we completed a three -hour radar plod up the Gastineau Channel in 1/8 mile vis. Just as we approached the Douglas Island Bridge, the whale appeared through the breaking wispy ground fog. A true photo op.

Nice photo. Just like the whole layout of it. Good looking boat.

This sequence was taken from the sundeck on our boat last summer....storm system coming across Lake Michigan (just over that tree lined dune). That funnel thing passed directly over the boat (at the dock). (The last photo flipped 90* ccw during upload).

"Blowboats" and all...

Each and every photo posted on this thread is stunning in so many ways! All boats are a source of pride to its owner & crew. I have had the good fortune to have had several of each, both Blow and no-blow, and in my opinion, these photos are beautiful for so many reasons, not just the meteorology.:peace:

My favorite shot from this year's boating season doesn't have any boats in it, but I did take it from the back of my boat. I saw this big moon coming up and realized the trees were going to frame it. I have shot the moon many times over the years but never had one that was very special. 400mm zoom on full frame camera. South Puget Sound.

Bahía Delta. Spain

Hi everyone.
It is very difficult to choose only a pair of photos of a great summer by our coasts (Vigo Bay-Spain).
I hope you like them.
