Hi all,
I have a Crosby 21 Tug, 1973, aft wheel house version, for sale.
6'6" headroom in wheel house. Wheel house seats 5. Has over-head bomar hatch, 7 fwd/side windws (two opening) and stb side sliding door. Additionally has 1 bronze port, and two other windows facing aft.
Fo'castle has vberth, porta-potti (unused) three bronze ports, 1 overhead solar vent fan, two lower vents, and has 6'4" headroom.
Perkins 4-108 (<100 hours), Paragon PM30, 3:1 gearbox.
60 gal fuel (10 nm/gal @5kts, 7.25nm/gal 6kts, @3ish nm/gal 7.1kts[wot]).
There is approx 80sq feet of 'party space' forward of the wheel house, great for sunset cruises, fishing, gunkholing, weddings (well, just one so far!).
The boat is in good condition, everything is in good working order (due to a substantial amount of work (20k plus) completed during the last year).
2017 work completed:
Haulout:
Bottom Job.
New prop (old one as spare).
Anodes.
Serviced Through hulls (1 below water line = intake, the other above = exhaust) & Seacock (just one on this boat).
Stuffing box.
Rudder post stuffing box rebuilt (with expoxy/glass) and re-packed.
Topsides (Awl Craft) cut and polished.
Engine room:
Painted the entire engine room/hold including deckhead and bilge.
Renovated the fuel tank and filter.
Filler hose and breather hose/fittings.
All new fuel lines.
Refurbished Perkins 4-108 (rebuilt by BSH Marine Pensacola FL 2017).
Rebuilt Injector pump (by local Perkins Dealer here in Fort Myers FL).
New exhaust riser and water injection elbow.
New oil and water sensors and switches.
Added 1 New secondary bilge pump, with new hose, nrv and wiring.
Serviced main bilge pump, replaced hose and wiring.
New batteries (2 Interstate AGM).
New balmar alternator with ARS4 regulator (and spare ARS3 as backup).
Other:
Complete re-wire.
New engine instrument and switch panel.
Remove Teleflex mechanical steering.
Installed new Hydraulic steering:
Seastar 1.7 helm
BA135 cylinder,
Custom built industrial marine quality hoses.
Installed Raymarine EV-100 Hydraulic autopilot.
Installed Garmin 545s plotter/sounder (to existing airmar through-hull).
There is still work to complete, but I seem to spend my time on the water rather than working on her (him?) this boat is too characterful to leave tied up to the dock!
Email me for a list of work that needs to be completed.
I'm selling as my wife would rather we have a faster boat so that we can w/e near our favourite dive sites which are 50->140nm away (we live 21 miles up-river on the Caloosahatchee).
Asking $15k, but am open to offers (especially trades for a faster 25'+ boat like an Acadia 25 or TJason 28 etc).
Thanks for taking time to read this, please don't hesitate to email me with any questions you may have.
-Mark.
PS: the photos show her cosmetic condition prior to completing her haul-out.
