Hi Folks,
My wife and I are building a home in the Carolinas and planning to spend considerable time cruising up and down the east coast. We're very excited.
We've been scouring the go-to sites, dealers, and forums for the right trawler; kicking tires and of course seeing those I should have jumped on just a little too late.
I'm reaching out to this fine group as surely somebody knows somebody who's thinking about maybe just possibly parting with the perfect boat for us.
We're looking for a sturdy displacement tub of 38'-42' with a salty profile and a single screw on the east coast. Preferably with a covered cockpit and a walk-around queen.
Building the house limits our budget to 50-75k, but we don't fear a bit of a project if the potential is there.
Thanks very much in advance for any suggestions.
