Sounds fair enough. I would imagine swimming and paddle boarding off your boat/home as well as fishing would be fine as well.
Hello Larry. We will probably be back Tuesday for a few days and will try to find you.
Wow. Will y’all stay? Have enough provisions to stay?
We don’t know how long the situation will last here in the US, but I bet it will be longer than the Bahamas, especially since we still have not locked the country down to the extent the Bahamas has.
...On paper the Bahamas has a pretty good lockdown, but is it being obeyed? Is enforcement vigorous enough to change behavior? Bahamians are gregarious family oriented people, will they put a complete halt to mingling with their relatives and neighbors? Will they completely stop hugging and shaking hands? If not things will get bad very quickly in a few days and weeks.
People in Bullocks Harbour and Great Harbour Cay are following the guidelines. A few grocery stores are open but with a five person limit plus the gas station but that’s it, no bars, the liquor store or restaurants are open. Perfect...no but compared to the US, not even a contest.
We’re good with more than enough food. Fresh vegetables maybe an issue but everything else is fine. Our visa’s are good till the end of June and we can renew those. The property owner is stuck in Florida. She wants us to stay to take care of the house, her cat and property since she can’t return. We feel fortunate to be where we are given the situation.
