2003 Mainship 390 Starboard Sliding door removal

Mainship 390 Side Door About 6 years ago I removed the side door to replace the rollers by using a pry bar to force the bottom wheels up and over the track. Another way which a contractor showed me (he needed to remove the rear sliding glass door) was to grind away a portion of the track in...

2003 Mainship 390 Starboard Sliding door removal

Helm Sliding Door Removal I had the same problem so I used a pry bar to force the bottom wheels up and over the track. Another way which a contractor showed me (he needed to remove the rear sliding glass door) was to grind away a portion of the track in two places so the wheels slide off the...

2003 Mainship 390 Starboard Sliding door removal

I ended up using a wide, flat pry bar and popping the wheels off the bottom track. Could not find SS wheels that would fit so ending up using steel. Yearly I take WD40 and aim the nozzle upward towards the wheels and spray liberally. So far the door is sliding OK. I read in another forum...

    Mainship Sump pump wiring

Sump pump problems My boat is an '03 390 single Yanmar. I'd like to know if each bilge/sump pump has it's own "hot" wire to the batteries or if they are consolidated. I currently see only 2 16 gauge wires wired directly to the battery. I am wondering if I should have 4 wires.

    Fresh Water Hookup

Another fresh water question concerning my 2002 Mainship 390. When I hookup my freshwater hose to the inlet on the transom I only get water to the stern fresh water washdown hose. It does not provide water to the galley or shower. Is there a valve closed or a plugged hose? If it is a valve...

    Fresh water equalization

John, where was the valve located on you vessel, back by the tanks or on the valve chain located under the helm?

    Fresh water equalization

I just de-winterized my 2002 Mainship 390. After flushing the tanks and filling them with fresh water I find that the tanks do not equalize. The port tank empties while the starboard tank is still full. It appears to me that I have a plugged line. Does anyone know where the line is and how...

2003 Mainship 390 Starboard Sliding door removal

Need to replace the rollers on the sliding door but am having a difficult time figuring out how to remove the door. I've removed the bottom strip and loosened the adjustment screws but cannot get the door out. Suggestions?
