Boat Porn: Fantasies of cheating on your boat

140HP, don't know the make. But he said he couldn't get a carburated version, had to get FI. So, no Holley's on top.

Boat Porn: Fantasies of cheating on your boat

One of my neighbors built this from scratch. Started in 2005, just brought it to the yard yesterday. The steering wheel is from a Model T.

    Trailerable Trawler

Not a trawler, but ... ... I'll be back on the water in the Spring. Sealed the deal yesterday. Taking delivery in early January.

    Slow Going

A boat is towed past my house once a week on average. My all time favorite was a TowBoatUS towing a TowBoatUS. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture. But this one isn't bad. Tired looking cruiser, listing to starboard. And, DNR to the rescue!

Best time for extended cruising around the Chesapeake

As much as we grumble about the brutal heat & humidity in July and August, the weather for most of this past week has been absolutely perfect!

For all the reasons others have already mentioned before I got back to this thread. :)

Best time for extended cruising around the Chesapeake

The Fall for me. But Spring isn't bad either. As everyone mentioned, July and August are just brutal.

    Rescued

Yesterday we got a typical Maryland summer late afternoon thunderstorm. This sailboat was moored maybe 100 - 150 yards up the creek from our house. Then the storm blew through and she dragged her mooring all the way down to our backyard. Seems to have finally gotten hung up on some of the...

    Old Marine Trader

I'm back to lurking. Boatless, except for the Flying Scott and the dink. And since the OTDE was shut down, no more arguing with a particular British gentleman.

    Old Marine Trader

That was my 1 and only MT. I did learn a lesson, maybe quite a few, actually! :-) Next boat - minimal wood on the exterior and either solid glass decks & house or a much newer/modern boat that handles the wood core issues much better. I'm hoping to mostly retire at the end of this year...

Now is the time to act, we can all do something good!

Do we know what their CO2 emissions are with respect to productivity, GDP, or some other measure of efficiency? Asking not as a political question/accusation, just that I dig numbers/stats. I'm all for building modern nukes. Do that and be done with this divisive issue.
