Arrival day! We were told to hurry over for a 0800 go at the big ship. We arrived in Roger's Bayliner- the tow boat, only to find a boom around the ship and a refueling barge alongside. We were told things would have to wait until after lunch! Oh well, with temps climbing into the 80s, there...

hehe OK I shared the position on TF at 2100 last night. At 0130, the ship had slowed close to Pt. Angeles, presumably to pick up the pilot. At 0500, she was entering Elliot Bay. By 0700 she had moored at Harbor Island in Seattle. As you see, I'm not at all anxious!

Looks like offload early Tuesday.

Thanks for the report! We plan on picking up the dinghy from Waypoint Marine near the locks late next week and "torqeedo" it over to the Helmsman dock in Lake Union. The 1003C has a nice hefty battery so we are going to hold off on the solar for now, but I suspect we will end up getting it...

Slipped Informed today May 1 completion at yard has slipped. Nothing definite yet. Modifying summer plans. For now will sit back and enjoy watching Fletcher500's 43 arrival in the coming days.....

Ordered a 1003C from Fisheries Supply at the Seattle Boat Show last month. Torqeedo rep there was helpful with some tips and threw in a few goodies. We won’t be operational until May so please share your experiences. Looking forward to a no gasoline boat!

Correction the "radar mast" i pointed out on the 43 is actually a radar ARCH. We are also getting the ARCH- feel it will offer more space on the flybridge. However, imo mast wins on style points!

Granite is in! Going with propane stove. Drop down storage- we went with an additional one identical to the standard one above counter. Some have opted for a larger one for drop down tv monitor. We need the storage! Kudos to Scott, Gary, Lisa and everyone at Helmsman! Can't wait for May Day!

New storage in stateroom moved from floor on side of bed to above bed. Allows for better access to the bed and to storage. We asked for a removable shelf and glad we did. It more that doubles available shelf space due to slope of hull behind. Salon- note 38E windows. Master shower bench.
