Diesel in SS water tank. Now what?

I'm coming into this late. If this happened to me wo any other resource, I would steam the tank. If put a wand into it connected to a clothes steamer and drain the tank, let it run. Or is there El Stanley steamer down there? When I was hauling chemicals, the final step in cleaning the SS...

Routing cables through the antenna mast

When you say "chase", is there a conduit in your bridge deck to the upper helm? My mast wires (3) have a plug that goes into a socket on the deck.

Looking for Ideas - Dashboard Overhaul

Well, here's what I'm doing on Phelps. The upper helm on mine and many of these 30ft knock offs looks like this. I will never understand the logic of insetting the gauges centered and vertical. Anyway, Im putting seats on FG pedestals from a smaller boat IPO the benches. (The smaller of which...

Looking for fixer upper, 40ft plus…. southeastern U.S.

Scuse my stinkin' ignorance, but nobody has asked what boating experience you have. That may determine suggestions. If your experience is land based, you might be an Obi-wan mechanic, but boats require a different skill set.

    Refrigerator replacement.

I can buy a 110v fan & wire it to come on with any compressor. But 12V fans are cheaper and require a temp switch to turn them on. Anybody got a satisfactory switch ?

Is that a 12v or 120v fan? If 12, what are you using for on/off ?

    Strataglass vs Eisenglass

You guys all use what you want. Strata has a non scratch coating, not worth the $ to me. Zip to the top- I usually design my stuff to swing up to the top POCKET for the # 2 bow.
