    Incident at fuel dock

Fueled our Mainship Pilot 30 recently at Madeira Beach Municipal Marina... as we pulled in, no answer on the VHF, so we tied up at the floating dock - which was covered in fuel hoses snaking this way and that, from about 3 or 4 different pumps. A tour boat pulled in just behind us, and the crew...

    Stove top

I have used the Origo non-pressurized alcohol stoves for years on other boats - European design originally, been around for 30 years or more: efficient, safe and yes, it does boil water. If you're looking for a simple, easy to use stove, I'd recommend it

Recommendations please - flush mounted 12v USB plugs

I installed a Blue Seas dual usb plug on my dashboard - 2.4 amps each port - and use it for my Navionics app on my iPad. Even with that, the iPad slowly lost power throughout the day, until I found a more robust power cord. Since then it's been just fine, all day.

There was an interesting thread on Facebook in the Mainship Owners Group about fairing the end of the keel, just below and especially above the prop shaft. Instead of a blunt trailing edge, a fairing was added that brought the keel to a point to reduce turbulence and keep water flow attached to...

    Mainship Pilot Opening Front Window

Last Laugh is a 2000 Mainship Pilot 30 - I have a rigid top, with canvas & isinglass side windows - the center pane of the windshield is fixed, and I would dearly like to convert it to an opening port, providing good breeze and better night visibility

Has anyone converted the center fixed window of a Mainship Pilot into an opening window? Sure could use the extra fresh air down here in SW Florida. If there's a thread about this, please redirect me
