    Inflatable SUP

I have a Tower board. Nothing fancy. Got it to take on our sailboat, will bring it on the Tug now. Easy to inflate, store. Very stiff. Not expensive. https://www.towerpaddleboards.com/

As Bruce posted earlier, she is back together again. https://brucebeard.com/2017/06/14/putting-her-back-together/ And seven days after she arrived at New England Boatworks, we had our first sunset cruise on the bay. https://brucebeard.com/2017/06/16/♬-on-the-road-bay-again-♬/

    ?On the road again...?

Another small world tidbit today... We own a commercial building near our marina here in Rhode Island. Our tenant happened to be driving on the highway at the other side of the state this afternoon, and he saw our boat cruising up the road! She is getting close! We thought about driving up...

    ?On the road again...?

Another sighting! We got an email from a friend who lives in Kentucky. He probably knew the boat was on its way across the country, but he would have had no idea that it would be in Kentucky (we didn't even know). He was on the interstate and did a triple-take ... he saw our boat pulled over...

    America's Cup 2017

I worked for one of the AC syndicates in Fremantle in 86-87. Now THAT was a sailboat race. The last of the great AC events. Unbelievable sailing, great memories. Even Key West is gone now. No Key West Race Week in 2018 >> Scuttlebutt Sailing News And I'm in a trawler, sailboat-less. I...

    ?On the road again...?

We thought about a tracking device but in the end, decided not to bother. The easy solutions (things like Tile) require a cell phone w/ bluetooth, which requires a power supply. Then there are the satellite trackers, but we just didn't want to go through the expense for such a short haul...

    ?On the road again...?

That is the coolest thing I have heard in months and months and months!!! The world is a small place, even if this country is so large! Bruce has been calling the trucking company almost every day for an update. We had originally been told it would be a 10-day trip, which would have had her...

This is the last night of our Pacific Northwest shakedown cruise. Tomorrow we head back to LaConner, where our little Airstream is waiting patiently for us. We will take a few days to transition from the boat to the Airstream, and pack up the boat for shipping. The factory has a list of...

Spent a beautiful Easter Sunday afternoon in Reid Harbor on Stuart Island in the San Juans, about a mile or two from the US-Canadian Border Pass. There was only one other boat there, an AT 43. A relaxing and pleasant day.

Gotta love an opportunity to figure out some boat handling. As sailors, this trawler thing is all new. https://brucebeard.com/2017/04/13/shakedown-part-3-feisty-weather/

Hi Eric, We plan to be back in LaConner sometime during the first week of May. The boat is scheduled to ship home (by truck) on May 15. Were trying to get in as much cruising as we can between now and then. -Dorsey

A friend of mine called the red interior "an acquired taste," which I find an apt conclusion! This, on the other hand, is eye candy. Photo thanks to Laura Domela on the Nordic Tug Airship.
