Patricia and I recently finished moving our trawler from Mississippi to Kemah Texas. A couple of friends joined us on the trip and both of them took some great pictures I wanted to share with the forum in a few posts. These shots begin in New Orleans and end up near Houma Louisiana. We traveled a few miles up the Mississippi River and locked into the Harvey Lock (mile 0 on the GIWW)- where we continued west. There are a few pictures of some of the industry we have in the area, including a yacht being finished at Trinity Yachts. We were instructed by DHS to "clutch ahead" as three of these guys boarded our vessel and checked us out just East of Houma. I had to ask the officer what that meant
Kathleen treated us that night to a wonderful layered cheese mold- just one of several preplanned dishes that was enjoyed by all. *It was a great trip-
