ST42 mast and heads

We're looking for our next (fourth) boat, moving from an OA42 sundeck, and currently considering a ST42, Antares 13.80, or Princess 42. None are located in our area, so we've only been able to do online research so far.

For the ST42 owners:

• Does the mast collapse easily? We're in a covered slip.
• Is it correct that the two heads are joined by a door?
• Are there any routine maintenance/service jobs that are particularly miserable?
• Is there anything you really love or hate about the ST42?

It lowers fine just need jig to hold like an X
