Mr. m. Thanks. We get the yearly flu shot and IT changes and is more or less effective with every flu season. As mentioned, virus's mutate. The very fact that "science" is aware of and can detect these changes is a good thing.

I suspect that as is the case with the flu vaccine, you may still get the flu, but the severity could be less by having received the vaccine. In others words the vaccine still provides partial protection or benefit. I suspect this out of blind optimism and some degree of fear, and not at all from any meaningful expertise or knowledge of any kind. Holiday Inn kind of thinking. Works for me.
