Hi all, I finally got around to joining the forum, been checking in occasionally for the last few years.
I live onboard my 42ft Grand Banks (1985) - and i'm retired now and cruising Indonesia after several years cruising Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
Be interesting to compare costs of upkeep and general fees if anyone is interested.
FYI good quality diesel here is around $4.50 per gallon, not cheap when you're filling up with 500 gals.
On the up side i've just had new fuel and water tanks fabricated and installed at a cost of around $10K - in the US that would likely be $40K so no complaints there.
I'll be checking in now and then to see if there's any feedback.
