Oil pressure gauge reads anywhere for zero to 80psi when running. Found a couple of times to stop and restart the engine when gauge is at zero and reading normal pressure. Trying to determine location of oil pressure sender and if Yanmar or Faria would provide the replacement, Appreciate any advice.

The sender should be on the starboard side of the engine, roughly in the middle fore and aft. It is about a1.25" diameter x 1.25" long, with a threaded fitting and a wire running to it. I think either Yanmar, or Faria could supply if you know the max psi the gauge indicates. You might check the Mainship Bill of Materials posted at the top of the forum. Likely the same across models.

Had the same, or similar issue, on our 4-LHA-stps on our Mainship 400. It's possible that it is the sender, but I would check the grounds first. Mainship did a shoddy job wiring the gauges.
