I'm restoring the original bar countertop on my Bayliner 3888. That block of wood that you see in the picture is where the original Nutone blender would have been, before a previous owner removed it and slapped some tiles over it.
I could seek out an original Nutone, or a modern replacement, but I actually have no use for a blender up there. I don't even drink, I just like the asthetics of having a bar. I'd like to add something cool that will class up that corner.
I'm tempted to get one of these carbonators in brass:
https://www.amazon.ca/Aarke-Carbona...=carbonated+water+d,aps,352&sr=8-7&th=1&psc=1
It might look cool, but it's not exactly meant for this application, so I'd have to make damn sure it was solidly anchored. May not be worth the trouble.
Alternative could be some sort of wooden tray or something to hold loose objects, but beyond that I'm not sure. Anyone have a suggestion?
