We met a boat up at Roche Harbor that was enclosed in solid canvas with a few horizontal slits. The owner had a similar medical condition. Once we knew that it made a lot more sense.
Why Ron,..... was that a joke?Wouldn't it have been easier to enclose the owner in solid canvas?

I think I've seen that picture once before Don. If it's the same boat (and the story behind it was true) it was done because the owner had a severe sun allergy or something like that. Had no desire to give up boating so he made a canvas shop owner very happy.

I think you're talking about this guy.
+1Greetings,
One of my pet peeves is "for sale" listings. I have seen numerous pictures of boats for sale, primarily on YW as that's the site I mostly frequent, where the seller has not taken the time to clean/tidy up. Also as I have mentioned before, the state of the ER's, if even shown, is sometimes akin to the black hole of Calcutta. Talk about devaluing your boat.
Why do they always have a pic of the actual toilet bowl? We know what they look like. And lid up? Is that just to annoy female boaters ( some of whom leave the lid down to annoy guys).Greetings,

Full canvas - $15,000
1 Pair trousers - $15.00
1 Long sleeved shirt - $15.00
1 Tilley hat - $70.00
Net savings - $14,000
Of course your right economically speaking, Ron. However you are discounting the enhancement of the craft that the extra $14,000. does.

I was watching two football games on TV and posting when the commercialls coincided. I realized my math error after I shut down the computer and went to bed.I think you both need to work on your math skills.
OTOH I have a hard time picturing a broker even wanting to enter some of the spaces. Lots of built in "potential" though!BruceK said:At least it`s an area even the untidiest owner cleans up before pressing the shutter
Me thinks a VHF mayday call is soon to follow the launching. If you really want to increase value, you could always add a flying bridge.
