Comments:

I bought this boat 3 years ago and completely refurbished it (I had a sister ship 20 years ago, sold it up in the Seattle area and it is still there and *being used by a knowledgeable owner all the time).
It was left it on the hard for over a yearwhilebeing rebuiltand launched last year. The boat turns heads wherever it goes and people think it is brand new. Willards are great boats because they are very easy to handle and are very maneuverable because of their large rudder.
Everything functions as new (and most systems upgraded to "better than when new).

The only thing left to customize this boat to your taste is the V berth cushion, preferably a custom mattress and pilot house cushions.

If you are considering a Classic Trawler, the Willard 30 is an incredible boat.* Please look at other boats you may be interested in then look at KNOT AGAIN and you will see the difference.* The boat is very easy to visit, and can be easily delivered anywhere on the West Coast (I had her trucked from the LA area to Coyote Point Marine (san francisco)where she is now after the rebuild * really is easy to have hauled!

Beautiful boat Rick. My Nomad is nowhere near the finish of your Searcher. I had a good time looking at your pics though. I've not been aboard a Searcher and it looks like they have more room aft than I thought they would have. I think the Searcher or Horizon engine is further fwd than on a Nomad. I repowered "Willy" too and settled on a Klassen/Mitsubishi. There is a guy here in Alaska that did his anchor bow roller arrangement like yours and I think it's the best and Willard should have built them that way.*

No, in case my deal doesn't finalize on my new boat. It hasn't closed yet (should this week). I won't believe the deal is done till I am standing on it in US waters on the way home.

I saw the pictures and the boat looks great... actually fantastic! Hard to find a 30' full displacement boat.
 
Wow...that is indeed a proper yacht.
