Saw a posting today at the marina that the channel through the RR bridge and I45 bridge will be closed between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM for several months to allow removal of underwater debris. There was CG link but I didn't get it. Anyone have more detailed info?

Commencing July 25, 2016 until August 5, 2016, August 8-19, 2016, August 22, 2016 until September 2, 2016, September 6-16, 2016 and again on September 19-30, 2016, the COTP Houston Galveston will establish a Safety Zone, 500 feet on each side of the Galveston Causeway Railroad Bascule Span Bridge across the GIWW, Mile 357.2, WHL, in Galveston, Galveston County, Texas. This Safety Zone is necessary to protect vessels, infrastructure and the environment from hazards posed by debris removal operations. For debris removal operations, the waterway will be closed from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. During the periods when the waterway is open, mariners are urged to transit the area at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution. Mariners are requested to contact the U.S. Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston Command Center at (281) 464-4840, for further information.
