Cruising guide for Texas and Louisianna

Left the boat in Demopolis Al. for the summer, whilst I tore out a Farryman from my sailboat on the North Channel of Lake Huron*and fitted an outboard.
Planning on heading west towards Texas in October.Only stop planned so far is Mandeville.
Does anyone have a recommended cruising guide (other than Skipper Bob's which I have)?

Skipper Bob's which you have is very good My books are on the boat now Claiborne Young's book, and the Waterway Guideof the Northern Gulf have information also. There aren't many Marinas West of Lake Pontchartrain. Houma has city docks with power and water $25.00 per night. Morgan City has docks, I believe for free. There are places to anchor or tie up every 50- 60 miles or so.

Southern Waterway Guide that includes Texas is good, and Campbell's Guide to Cruising Texas is also very good.
