Hi All
My 1988 GB36 has two 50A fuse holders next to AC inlets (bows &stern). One must be replaced. I trust these are FIC 5900-11 fuse holders but it looks like an extinct specie.
Any source at reasonable price identified ? Found Wardsmarine.com on the net but no mean to purchase from them.
Anyway, are these AC inlets fuses really necessary ?
Greetings from the Mediterranean

Distance from the panel requires a separate main breaker/fuse. By memory 10 feet or more, but don't quote me.
Also are you using a 50 AMP power supply cable and dock breaker? If only 30 amp then these fuses need to be 30A.

Per ABYC you need to have over current protection within 10’ from the inlet on the boat. 10’ measured along the wiring.

I replaced the fuse holder/covers that you are referring to years ago on a GB, and I did source the parts from Wards Marine. Good luck!

Thanks all
Actually the breaker are 10´´ off AC inlet, not 10’. Original installation was 50 Amp and I retain it even if oversized regarding normal use.
Best regards
