Good stuff - although it doesn't have much on the 38'. It'll be an adventure. Lots of things to take care of in the short term. Frozen sea cocks, missing electrons (no power to anchor windlass). Radar that's shot. Haul out, zincs, etc.
My wife and I are closing on a 1976 38' tri cabin (as described by the broker). Is this the actual model? The appraisal calls it a 40' passage maker.

My wife and I are just finishing up the paperwork on an older (1976) Defever. The broker called it a 38' tri cabin. The surveyor has it as a passage maker 40. Does anybody know the story of earlier Defevers? I think I'm going to be showing the marina the 38' add when I get moorage.
