    Old Shore Power Cord -- throw away?

    Had an end of my 50a 220 cord go up in smoke last fall where it was connected to the dock pole. Ordered a new end and when I cut the old one off, found the copper to be corroded. Thought it was just the last few feet but after sawing it into several times, the whole cord was badly corroded...
