Last year at this time, my xantrex 2500 modified wave quit, so after some research, I replaced it with a Magum 2000 pure wave with charger. In my Opinion this is not overkill. As mentioned above, using a refer, microwave , Coffee pot, you still have to watch it...... Just adding my 2 cents. Frank

Found one on Ebay last year for $90 new made by IGLOO.. Works great. It makes a lot of ice from a gallon of water. We just harvest it and put it in the Refrigerator freezer... Frank

JesseD, Having just changed my V/D's oil, I would like to mention that the B/W manual that came with our boat states that ATF dextron II is ok to use, but they prefer 30w motor oil. Now I am not saying that all B/W's are this way. I just thought you might like to know, and yes, I do pump it out...

FYI...The Velvet Drive manual that came with our boat states that 30wt motor is preferred over transmission fluid.... Frank

Have to agree with Blue Heron & Knotheadcharters. We purchased our MT sun deck over a year ago, & we love it. Sure there are steps, but not that bad. So far we have only used the steps to the swim platform once. With the sun deck enclosed, you have another room.... Frank
