    Stabilization for a GB32

Have you looked at the Seakeeper 2? It’s DC powered so doesn’t require a generator as long as your main is running. Fairly small footprint and not ridiculously priced. A friend of mine works in the marine tech space and speaks highly of them. He even suggested the Seakeeper 1 (smallest size) for...

    Navionics Advice?

Not an answer to your question but I use a Garmin Inreach connected via Bluetooth to the IPad. Has been problem free so far and the downloaded section of map shows up automatically.

Storing Open Tubes of Adhesive Sealant

I used my vacuum sealer on the last tube. I’ll report back on how that works out next time I need it.

    Carpentry in a V hull

For side to side, you can take gunnel to gunnel measurements under the deck (or any other point across the beam that’s consistent) and find the Center point. Then drop a line to the Center of the bilge and transfer 90 degrees off this vertical line. That will give you level from side to side...

    Aspen fuel

Should we opt for Lithium Iron batteries (LiFePo) over Lead Acid kind?

Based on my research and I’m no expert, Dc-dc chargers are often used to limit alternator draw in the case of a large battery bank and a smaller alternator. LifePo batteries often have a 1C acceptance rate so a 400AH battery bank will draw 400 amps from the alternator, overloading and damaging...

    No Service History

So it appears we may be able to get service records from the shop that has done the services since 2015… it’s sounding better, will keep you all posted, thanks again

    No Service History

Thanks for the quick response everyone…kinda confirms what I was thinking - proceed with caution. I’m fairly mechanically inclined and think I’ll take a look before I commit to a survey. If I see any red flags all I’ve lost is a bit of my time.

    No Service History

First, thanks for everyone who contributes to this forum. I just joined and the depth of information shared here is super helpful. My question is: Would you look seriously at a boat and put it under contract if the broker has no history or records? We are looking for a Nordic 32 and have found...
