Oa 43 Ocean Alexander is very Quality conscious and well designed, have not found any shortcuts in construction on my sedan,although any older boats condition will depend care and upkeep of previous owners. So check thoroughly and personally in addition to surveyor if possible. Good luck. Randal

Mantis anchor Don't know anything about the mantus anchor, but using mantis mooring hook with the mantus bridle. The hook stays on and easy to take off chain when used on anchor chain Check it out on their website. Randal

Thanks for the response , according to their website, Marelon is not available in 1/4 in. Pipe. I found it in stainless steel at Grainger.com. Sense ss is used in exhaust mixing elbows. I am going to try it and will monitor. Thanks again, Randal
