    Hello all, I’m new to the idea of trawler life and have started an aggressive search. Looking at a Mainship 370 with twin 6.5 litre diesels. They are not the GM screamers. The boat is a 1996, original purchase in 1998. Any information / conversation would be greatly appreciated.

    Making the copilot feel safe...

    Having similar spousal issues, on Vancouver Island, and new to ‘open sea boating’ we have taken baby steps. That being said, my 28’ handles the Salish sea fairly well, no flybridge. I think 33’ flybridge on this coast makes the boat too square. Try a smaller boat, or calmer seas. Good luck!!
