    if you have a air compressor you can rent a cooling evacuation tool from most auto parts stores that will hold the cooling system under a vacuum while you can quickly change out a sensor or block heater, I used to use them on semis with 10 gal. system capacity with no problem i would think it...

    if your new alternator if a higher amp unit you may want to check that the postive wire can handle the extra load.

    marine power? thats what the plate on the exhaust manifolds say. there blue, closed loop cooling systems, looks like a standard GM cap, coil and ing. module

    thanks, she seems to be a solid old boat, was painted at some time and looks good at 10 feet, re powered around 2000 with 454 marine power and velvet drives and the galley/salon was gutted
