    RIB pontoons

    There was a mfg., Harpoon that made a 22' Rib in the PNW. They are since out of business. Does anybody out there know of someone who can make custom replacement pontoons? Called all the rib mfg. and $750 a foot seems a bit much, as in $17k. Be a shame to scrap the hull.

    The dime trick is very useful should you be the victim of hydrolock. A fully charged battery and perfect starter cannot overcome this. Insert the dimes under the exhaust valves and you can turn the engine by hand until the water is expelled. Had this happen last year with the Dripless Shaft Seal...

    Adding a hardtop

    Hardtop I replaced the canvas and poor plastic windows on my Lien Hwa 12 years ago. I used Boat Board Lite and a stainless frame that attached to the radar arch. When you build the framework attach a slotted rail for the side curtains. I used Markalon that tips up, and used snaps to hold them...

    Buenas Dias from San Carlos Mexico. We are starting our second cruising season (Jim and Daniella) in the Sea of Cortez. Fixing the minor damage from Newton and generally prepping the boat.
