I've got a Transpac Eagle40 (which btw. is for sale) We absolutely love this boat and think it's the best 'small' big boat on the market. Reasons for thinking so are: - large outdoor living area, with a huge cockpit, large command bridge, decent fordeck with high bulwarks walk around side decks...

and it's been slightly warmer and dryer here in Victoria than Van. On Xmas eve / day we took our boat from Victoria to Poets Cove for a 2 day Christmas vacation. It was beautiful, both the weather and the place.

When we go hali fishing it's drop the hook in 200-300' of water, shut off the engine, crack a beer and a sandwich and wait for the rod to jerk. (dog fish for the first 1-2 hrs. then if we're lucky, a nice hali will latch on.)

Were the jelly fish at Genoa Bay? We were there 2 weeks ago and saw much the same thing, 1000's of little jelly fish floating in the bay. I saw a show on the Discovery channel a while back where they were talking about jelly fish in the worlds oceans. Pretty scary stuff as these little critters...

Yea, I've seen that 'vessel' here in Sidney a few times. With the seas we can get here in the north West at times, I'll bet the spotter on the top lookout would be able to sway 10-20' sideways in a good roll. Do you have a Yachtworld link to the listing?? and no- I'm not interested.
