1980 CHB fuel tank replacement process

Hi everyone, I'm in process of buying a 1980 CHB, and the port tank is no longer in use and needs replacing. The boat comes with two new plastic fuel tanks, not yet installed. I've been reading many posts about cutting out the steel tanks, but I'm wondering how the plastic tanks go back in...

    A Sail for my trawler?

Hi there - I just made an offer on a 34' CHB, my first trawler! While aboard I couldn't help noticing it has a mast and boom, but I can't find much info on using a sail on this boat out there. So I decided I should ask all of you here who know a great deal more about trawlers...so thanks in...
