Im going to ass-sume its tin and rusted at the bottom from outside in. Id look at other uses for that engine like highway light sets, lawn maintenance equipt, etc for a pan. Worst case buy the cheapest and take it to a welder & adapt it. And undercoat the bottom first before installing.

First move id suggest is checking shaft alignment to trans. If its in alignment leave the stringer alone, just inject it

You have a big heat sink in your engine. Would a car heater core, muffin fan & a small circ pump do it ? I have a spot under step to V berth, perfect. Same height as engine, no air lock worry, no eng fumes, no CO. Bring eng up to temp before 10pm

Loosen the nut a LITTLE. Then tap on the stud with the nut still on. It is probably a tapered plug inside & that should break it loose.

Prob has a nut on the opposite end. Loosen nut a bit, then 90 ° either way should close it. Is there an arrow on the square showing flow ? If not id put one on it with a chisel.

Don't want to pay 50+$ for an update card. Apparently there are issues with SD cards doing a download & install. I was going to use a Navionics card to do it,
