    Are the stands mine?

Well I got a full mixed bag of answers. It sounds like it really depends on where you store it and what was agreed upon. Since there was not a set agreement I guess I don't have much argument. :banghead: Fortunately my dad knows many people and called in a few favors so i will have significantly...

    Are the stands mine?

If the boat was not on the stands when I bought it I would think otherwise but I kind of see it like buying a boat on the trailer and being told after that the trailer is not included. If I knew before I would have negotiated them in the deal but it blindsided me saying after.

    Are the stands mine?

The don't belong to the yard. It's a private club. The former owner never specifically mentioned he wanted them till after the sale.

    Are the stands mine?

Hmm, let me look at that... I think it does have an exclusion section that is empty. It's the coast guard BOS.

    Are the stands mine?

So last weekend I purchased a Mainship mark1 that is a project boat. It's been on land for around 18 years. So I made an offer to the guy and it was accepted. With that said my bill of sale states as is where is. My plan is to move it and work on it. Several hours after purchasing it the guy...

Removing bridge to move Mark 1

So the bridge was very easy to move. Fiberglass was about 250#+-. I recruited 3 others and it's now ready for transition

It does look pretty slick like that. I was pretty happy that i could keep 90% of the gages still attached to the panel and remove the whole panel. the bridge was very easy. it took four of us to move it but it was not too difficult.

The top was significantly more difficult than the bridge. It was custom Aluminum that doesn't fold up. Thanks for the help.

Removing bridge to move Mark 1

I think the controls and hoses should be fairly easy to deal with.

Removing bridge to move Mark 1

Mine does not have molded seats so likely a bit lighter. I hope to move it on the bow to transport. But I think I may need to make something to support it.

Removing bridge to move Mark 1

So my plan is to move my 79 Mark to my house so I can work on it a few hours a day. Transportation is not super expensive but its 13'6" keel to highest point. The riggers need 12-14" so the bridge needs to go. It looks fairly easy to unbolt but any tips before I start?

    Drain plug

Thanks. I was hoping someone would have the answer. Does it come out from the outside or inside? My dad's was inside.

    Drain plug

I did not see it easily but I would think its somewhere on the bottom of the keel?

    Drain plug

I know my father's 93 sedan bridge 40 had one at a low point towards the front but instead of searching I was hoping someone with experience could send me in the correct area to save time.

    Drain plug

So I am wondering if there is a drain plug on my 79 Mark 1 keel?
