    Now we're redoing the thru hulls. They are not installed backwards. I used the thru hulls to clamp the backer blocks while the epoxy hardened.

    There was a persistent smell of diesel in the boat. The odor was so strong we would get headaches and after cleaning out the bilge, in dry dock, we would see more diesel fuel along the port stringer. I read stories about pinhole leaks in the aluminum tanks. I started to probe the fuel tank...

    To make her mine we're replacing the original Windows, wall panels, galley, cabin sole and fuel tanks. Then we'll add a windlass and clean up the gel coat and teak trim. I think a few weeks, OK months of work is involved.
