I just use standard 20 pound steel tank that is on an exchange program. I have the back up 10 lb Al. In the propane locker. I dont get much rust on the steel tank and swap it out every so often when in the US.

Another reason to close is of you are in an area where fuel may be sketchy. Only add fuel to one tank.

This thread has a few things going on. In regard to Mystery and RClarke on the fuel gauge. Possibly not the problem but my tanks have a valve between them. if I am running the generator it pulls from one tank. Even if the valve is open it takes quite a while to equalize.

I have two 12 inch and four ten inch. We keep two in the bow locker and four in the lazarrete. The two 10 inch in bow locker are extras. Typically use 3 or 4. The 12 inch are important to me.

no problem reaching rated rpm, both engines run the same.

I have twin D300 Volvo engines. The turbo pressure used to be the same for both. Recently I have noticed the pressures vary about 8% between the engines. Is this an indication of problems?

Shower drains have a basket and they pull out. The gadget we use we got from bed bath and beyond, it is for removing hair from sinks. They should be able to help you. Its about 2 feet long and looks like a large pipe cleaner.

The open cell is the way to go, but as Michael said its not cheap. The problem with my cushions and likely tours is the foam material, which sucks.
