That’s not why, The station of the cabin works easily no blisters it’s the one on top that doesn’t work properly I can tell the cable is not working right. I want to put in duel shifters that have to gearshifting throttles on the same lever so it’s easier to drive.

Yes, my gearshifts are old and outdated, so do you think just replace the cables and shifters and im good to go?

So is SAE 1040 ok? That’s what I used in both engines, I’m in southern California so it’s warm here so that’s why I didn’t use 1030��

15:40 was the correct oil for a Diesel engine, I wish you wouldn’t have responded if you didn’t know because you confused me and I ended up using 1040 in both engines (10 gallons) My mechanic said not to worry but all the same don’t interject opinions if you don’t know what your talking about...

That sounds amazing as I have noticed a bit of residual in the bilge and I can’t figure out where it’s coming from, do you just pour it in the tank?

Re diesel leak I have a 34 foot trawler and my leak was caused by non diesel pvc pipe going to the top of the diesel tank, also the valves weren't set right in the aft area. Make sure they are all open, turn all valves counter clockwise (wheel valves and levers) this stopped mine from leaking...
